The Multihull Source was formed in 1995 when Bob Gleason teamed up with Bert Kornyei to expand his Corsair dealership into other multihulls. Bert had recently bought his first Corsair from Bob and was excited to start this new venture. 
Bob and Ira are experienced multihull racers and cruisers; they organize and participate in numerous sailing events throughout the year. Because of their passion and vast knowledge, The Multihull Source is one of the strongest, full-service, multihull-only dealerships in the world.

A small generator complements a lightweight air conditioning or heating unit, and providing comfortable electrical independence when cruising in hot or cold climes. In true Corsair fashion, that generator and air conditioner are removable to reduce excess weight when racing, or reduce trailer weight when on the road. And this is where the 880 trimaran is the revolutionary boat it promises – all of that comes in a folding, trailerable package well below the trailering weight limit of most passenger cars.

The pinnacle of trimaran design, this revolutionary 29 foot trimaran offers all the possibilities of much larger boats in an easy to trailer lightweight package. The combination of performance, comfort and trailerability provides unlimited options for cruisers and racers alike. Available in a performance package with 13.5m carbon wing mast and racing sails or in a comfortable cruising package with creature comforts such as hot water and air conditioning. 

The Corsair 880 sleeps up to 5 people, offers a galley and enclosed head with shower, a saloon with full standing headroom  and all of that comes in a folding, trailerable package well below the trailering weight limit of most passenger cars.  With a simple setup allowing for launching in well under an hour this truly is a boat offering adventures across continents!

If your priority is to have all of the same adventures as cruisers, while winning then it’s the new Corsair 880 SPORT that floats your boat. This is performance for skilled sailors. Featuring a taller 13.5 metre carbon fibre rig, aramid laminate sails, and a lightweight fitout this boat is the finely up-tuned version of the state of the art in trimaran design. A larger-calibre carbon bowsprit creates an increased forward triangle to get the most out of a power-to-weight ratio that’s class leading everywhere in the world.

The all-new Corsair 880 and 880 SPORT are much more than feature-packed Corsairs. Careful attention has been paid to the fine detail. Hugely significant is the aft cabin area which gives the boat the ability to sleep 5. The manual or dry-bowl electric toilet is housed in an enclosed heads with overhead hatch ventilation – no smells in this new generation 28-footer. The galley area, like the main saloon, has full standing headroom making cooking and moving about while underway a breeze.

An all-new Corsair, and the legitimate heir to the trimaran revolution started by the Hall-of-Fame anointed F-27 in 1986. The pinnacle of trimaran design, this built from the ground up Corsair has full boat systems – meaning electric lighting, refrigeration, manual or electric toilet, and even air conditioning is available.

For local and regional listings, we maintain a network of relationships and contacts of interested buyers. Our minimum fee to list a boat is $1,500 or 10%, whichever is greater.  

As a buyer's broker we work hard to locate the ideal boat for a customer's needs. We have assisted clients in purchasing yachts from all corners of the continent, including Puerto Vallarta, Vancouver, Ft. Lauderdale, Newport, RI, Annapolis, Chicago, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle and many points in between. We have the experience to negotiate a fair deal, and to arrange for survey, delivery and commissioning. A buyer should seriously consider having an expert on their side of the deal.  As in real estate, the seller pays the commission.
